Shanah Halim, *1996
... is a promising and outstanding young mare from the Dahman Shawan tail female line of Sabah (*1920), a mare of Ali Pasha Sherif (the same line as Bukra and Pharrah). Her sire is the
Halim Shah son Dalia Halim out of the Ibn Moniet El Nefous daughter AK
Bint Dalia II, a winner of the German Stallion Licensing Show of 1995.
Her dam U.P.Shari, bred by the well known Poth-Family in France and now
owned by A.C.Ehrkamp, Stud Cleopatra, is one of the rare Ibn el Moniet
Daughters in Europe. In Shanah´s pedigree you can also find the "10 million
dollar horse", Moniet El Sharaf and the former El Zahraa´s head stallion,
Farazdac.
Shanah is linebred
to Moniet El Nefous, and she shows that in a very exotic and elegant way.
Her body is correct and well balanced and her fine bay coat shines like
silk. With only a white star between her fascinating huge, round and dark
eyes and with the coal black skin in her lovely face and none white markings
on her legs she is a true Koheilan.
She has a typey, dry and short head with big nostrils, fine ears and a teacup muzzle. Her legs are fine-boned and dry. She has extraordinary and flyingmovements with a high and proud tail carriage. She has all sings of an excellent broodmare - that should be charisma, fantastic presence, feminine expression and a kind character. At her first show Shanah Halim made an excellent 5th place with 85,67 points against high-class competition at the intern. B-Show in Kreuth. She was presented by Jana Schafferus.
